Daikin Industries Ltd. and Daikin Europe NV have opened their new production plant in the Czech Republic in September 2004. Located near Plzen in West Bohemia, this plant is suppling the residential air conditioning market in Southern and SouthernWest Europe.

In September 2003 the new factory of Daikin company was officialy established in Pilsen by implanting a symbolic tree on the place where this new factory wil be built up.

Mass production of air conditioning units in Daikin Plzeň has started in September 2004, just couple months after establishing the company, and now we produce outdoor units in 3 assembly lines and indoor units in 2 lines, both only for residential purposes.

V měsíci červnu 2006 získala společnost Daikin Industries Czech Republic spol. s r.o certifikáty ISO 9001 a ISO 14001. --- During June 2006 Daikin Industries Czech Republic spol. receives the ISO 9001 and 14001 certificates.
