The highest Japanese and Belgium management was invited by Pilsen town councillors lead by town mayor Mr. Šneberger to officialy start building up new company in Pilsen. This start was done by implanting a symbolic tree on the place where the new factory should be in the future. 

September 2003 - Headstone put down

In September 2003 the official ceremony started all the construction works to build up a new factory in Pilsen, Borská pole.

June 2004 - 1. phase is finished

In June 2004 the initial 8 000 m2 were inspected and approved by Pilsen Authority Institutions for provisional using. As soon as this first phase was built up, second step of the project has just started and should be finished in spring 2005. This will extend excisting size up to three times.

September 2004 - Mass production start

After finishing the basic setting up in the new factory, mass production started in September this year to produce and first Daikin aircondition units produced in the Czech Republic were made in 1 outdoor line.

July 2006 

Our company obtained ISO Certificates for quality and enviromental policy. More detailed information you receive in further text on our websites.

in 2007

We are proud to announce that our production has increased into several airconditional units models in 3 outdoor assembly lines and 2 indoor lines. Company employ around 950 employees but this number is still rapidly increasing due to higher production.The final target is around 1800 employees working for Daikin in Pilsen so that the company expect to have to look for new members also in other regions except for Pilsen region.
