Software Tester

Job description

  • Participation in projects across the DICz EDC group, transform ideas, user functional requirements and control logic requirements into software specifications of units and unit drivers
  • Collection and improvement of software requirements based on feedback from the operational use of the equipment, gained experience and other knowledge from the practical use
  • Cooperation with the sales department, with other international centers, Daikin SW department and the production department to specify the product concept
  • Preparation of software specification documentation for heat pump control logic, remote control functions, WLAN and sharing of software specifications with the Daikin SW group in order to prepare the required software
  • Monitoring the various stages of software development, including defining testing requirements, schedules and testing software preparation according to the project schedule


  • Bachelor´s/master´s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Interest in the field of new technologies, SW management and SW testing
  • Organizational and analytical skills, reliability and strong self-motivation
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with given outputs and deadlines with a focus on achieving results
  • Active cooperation with project team members
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical target groups in a global company environment
  • Advanced knowledge of English language
  • Basics of thermodynamics is an advantage
  • Basics of C++ is an advantage
