Enviroment

At Daikin, we recognize the importance of protecting the environment, which is why we actively strive to reduce our ecological footprint. We take pride in our photovoltaic power plants with capacities of 19.2 kWp and 9.6 kWp, a solar system, a natural biotope, and rainwater tanks that help us manage natural resources efficiently.

In addition to technological solutions, we also focus on everyday actions that can have a significant impact. We sort waste, replace plastics with more eco-friendly materials, and support charity drives by donating clothes and food to those in need.

The biotope was built using production waste. Employees are actively involved in both the construction and maintenance of the biotope, and thanks to their contribution, a pleasant relaxation area has been created.

Daikin aims to reduce net emissions (relative to the market) by 30% between 2019 and 2025, and by 50% between 2025 and 2030, gradually moving toward achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.

We have a photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 19.2 kWp that harnesses solar energy to generate electricity and covers part of our energy consumption.

The use of rainwater at the company includes the construction and expansion of the existing concrete tank infrastructure with a total capacity of 750 m³. This water is used for toilets, as a cooling medium in laboratories, for irrigation, and in the future, also in the sheet metal paint shop. An integral part of the project was the interconnection of individual tank blocks located in different parts of the premises, allowing water to be redistributed between the blocks according to the company’s needs.

We are part of a sustainable development initiative.
